Allot of money can be made using the Internet but in order for one to be successful one must place his utmost attention on a specific micro niche. The trick to you success is the amount of micro niches you create and as the saying goes the more the merrier.
But what is a a micro niche, in Internet marketing terms? Well in a few short words it really a detachment of a bigger niche. If we perhaps look at the Golfing Niche, this one of the most competitive niches on the Internet and will be near impossible to rank in the first page for the keyword “golf” in any search engine. On the other hand if we were to break down this niche into smaller subsets such as “getting a better golf swing” or “how to learn golf strokes” we will be creating longer tail keywords from the main subset “golf”. Breaking down large niches into smaller niche or subsets is what we call micro niche.
With micro niches the chance of ranking highly in search engines are greater and long tail keywords are much less competitive and thus our chances to profit are better. Additionally long tail keywords are more targeted to what the user is looking for which gives us an added bonus.
Don’t get me wrong niche keywords like “insurance” or “golf” are quite profitable however its normally the high levels of competition which normally takes our focus elsewhere. The budgets and marketing campaign are not usually what the normal Internet marketer can afford. Some of the golden advice I normally give to people is to always put your primary attention in micro niches that allot of people are generally interested in and your sure to have a chance of generating a profit.
In my own projects I mainly start with shorter tail keywords for example “Writing Job” which is also quite competitive as pages with high rank for this search term normally dominate the first page in google as well. So I usually won’t build my blog around that, but with the help of some keyword research tools I broke the niche down into smaller subsets such as “proofreading job” and “copywriter job”. These keywords I could more definitely build a blog around.
These micro niches were far less competitive and good number of people were searching using those keywords, and traffic = money. Naturally there was enough content available, images and some videos that can be used for a great blog. Also wouldn’t hurt to monetise your micro niche blog with Amazon widgets and Google AdSense.
Although there are not thousands of people searching for the keywords “proofreading jobs” or “copyrighting jobs” daily, the advantages of these words are: they are highly targeted and as a result you will easier make a sale if you center your blog around those themes.
To give you some tips: always investigate your micro niche thoroughly and concentrate your focus on longer tail keywords and make sure you have allot of good content for your niche blogs so as not to bore your readers who will not be so inclined to revisit.
To be successful and micro niche blogging you need to be ahead of your competition what if there was a way of automating the creation of you micro niche blogs? Thankfully now there is Micro Niche Profit Automation
